Watch Cover innovates with comprehensive all-risk insurance dedicated to protecting watches, both at home and when worn outside, against damage, theft, or assault.

This system is based on unique technology that allows the watch to be reported stolen and blacklisted.
This insurance program is operated by the broker CLEVERand the insurer HISCOX.

Frequently Asked Questions

I already have home insurance, so why should I insure my watch?

Home insurance policies generally cover watches only when they are at home, sometimes even only when they are placed in a safe. Compensation limits are often low and accompanied by numerous exclusions. Watch Cover protects your watch at its actual value, even when worn outside the home.

What types of damage are covered?

Coverage includes accidental damage, theft with assault or break-in, glass breakage, and impact damage.

Is there a deductible in the event of a claim?

No. Watch Cover is insurance with no deductible. You will not have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses in the event of a covered claim. To take full advantage of this protection, the watch must have completed the certification process, if applicable, and the agreed value must have been validated.

How do I report a claim and how long will it take to receive compensation?

The claim can be made online in just a few minutes. Once the file is complete and validated, repairs or compensation will be arranged quickly. Processing times are accelerated when the watch has already completed the certification process and its agreed value has been validated. Otherwise, additional checks may be necessary before compensation can be paid.

Is my watch insured for its actual value, even if it changes?

Your watch is insured based on the agreed value stated on your Watch Certificate™ passport. This ensures that you will be compensated for the replacement value of your watch. As the value of certain models may change over time, Watch Certificate™ services allow you to remotely update the agreed value of your watch, so you can easily adjust your insurance policy to ensure you are covered for the correct value.

I was robbed outside, but I don't have a safe at home. Will I be reimbursed?

Yes. The protection requirements applicable to the home (safe, lock, etc.) are not enforceable in the event of a loss occurring outside the home.

I have the necessary protective measures in place at home, so my watch is covered: can I remove it from my home insurance policy? How do I do this?

Yes. If you take out a Watch Cover policy, your watch is covered both at home and away from home. This means you no longer need to insure it through your home insurance. You can contact your insurer to request the removal or adjustment of the "valuables" coverage, which will generally result in a reduction in your premium.
