's comprehensive insurance for your watch

Because a timepiece is also an investment,
Insurance and Certification are there to guarantee it.

Why dedicated insurance?

Your watch is a unique item. You wear it, bump it around, and take it with you everywhere you go.

The greater its monetary and sentimental value, the greater the risks.
Traditional insurance policies were not designed to specifically protect these items that live and travel with you, and which may increase in value over time.

Watch Coverwas designed for watchesthat are worn. It is a simple and straightforward comprehensive insurance policy that protects your timepiece wherever you are, in all circumstances.

This insurance program is operated by CLEVER, anORIAS-registered broker, and HISCOX, a recognized international insurer.

Frequently Asked Questions

I already have home insurance, so why should I insure my watch?

Home insurance policies generally cover watches only when they are at home, sometimes even only when they are placed in a safe. Compensation limits are often low and accompanied by numerous exclusions. Watch Cover protects your watch at its actual value, even when worn outside the home.

What types of damage are covered?

Coverage includes accidental damage, theft with assault or break-in, glass breakage, and impact damage.

Is there a deductible in the event of a claim?

No. Watch Cover is insurance with no deductible. You will not have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses in the event of a covered claim. To take full advantage of this protection, the watch must have completed the certification process, if applicable, and the agreed value must have been validated.

How do I report a claim and how long will it take to receive compensation?

The claim can be made online in just a few minutes. Once the file is complete and validated, repairs or compensation will be arranged quickly. Processing times are accelerated when the watch has already completed the certification process and its agreed value has been validated. Otherwise, additional checks may be necessary before compensation can be paid.

Is my watch insured for its actual value, even if it changes?

Your watch is insured based on the value defined when you took out the policy. This value can be taken from either a purchase invoice less than two years old (to be provided) or a declared value that must then be approved via the Watch Certificate™ verification procedure. This ensures that you will be compensated for the replacement value of your watch. As the value of certain models may change over time, Watch Certificate™ services allow you to remotely update the approved value of your watch. You can then easily adjust your insurance policy to ensure you are covered at the correct value.
